Between 1980 and 2004 took place a "low intensity war" inside of Bolivia.
Thanks to the support of the U.S. Government, the Military and Neoliberal Governments made a war against the coca leaf producers. Under the excuse of a war against Narcotraffic there were killings and continue violations of the Human Rights over the farmer population of Cochabamba Tropic.

Between 1980 and 2004 took place a "low intensity war" inside of Bolivia.
Thanks to the support of the U.S. Government, the Military and Neoliberal Governments made a war against the coca leaf producers. Under the excuse of a war against Narcotraffic there were killings and continue violations of the Human Rights over the farmer population of Cochabamba Tropic.
This civil war was a fight between the State Security Forces and the Six Federations of Cochabamba Tropic. The result of this war was the death of around 123 people and around 513 ills by war arms in both sides.
Six years after the end of this war the most part of the faults has not been investigated or even denunciate. No one of the responsible of those facts has been processed and there is no one prisoner in the Bolivian jails related to this "low intensity war".
